CONNOR-DAVIDSON RESILIENCE SCALE (CD-RISC-25) ADAPTATION IN LATVIAN SAMPLE

The aim of the research was to adapt full version Connor-Davidson Resilience scale (CD-RISC-25) in Latvia gain qualitative and valid psychological measure assessing resilience. Studying scientific literature has shown multidimensional nature resilience construct as well broaden knowledge about complicated which can be affected by different factors rising from one’s individual experience environment where he comes from. Sample (N=186) age range 18 69 years old (M=37.65; SD=12.07), 75.8% females. Participants filled demographic data questionnaires Scale (Connor Davidson, 2003). 25 items, each rated 5-point Likert’s (0-4), with higher scores reflecting greater Cronbach’s Alpha for all items varies .88 .90 total α= .89, proves good internal consistency. Test-retest reliability demonstrated a high level agreement, an intraclass correlation coefficient .93. Resiliency Latvian sample showed consistency α = .89 psychometric properties, same noted other studies This CD-RISC-25 further population.
